Everyone talks about these burgers and they are adequately tasty. They give you lots of choices for toppings and the service is friendly.

I am not a burger lover, but this chain... oh my gosh!
I have been either in Costa Mesa and in Pasadena and I always had perfect food.
My favorite is the Ahi Tuna Burger.
Umami is one of the thing I miss most of California!

OMG, this is one of the best burgers ever! I had the umami burger and onion rings. It had shiitake mushrooms, a thin tempura waffle for extra tastiness, some tomatoe, and a thick steak like juicy burger. It had a unique taste, and was so delicious! And the onion rings were awesome!! And their ketchup has something different in it like horseradish or wasabi. Just delicious.

This burger was better than a quality steak. Incredibly delicious, moist meat. Superbly cooked and a wicked home made ketchup. The sweet potatoes fries are also out of this world, as were the onion rings.

Looking forward to coming back next year when we are visiting Souther California once again!

Food: Mixed feelings about this place. The burgers are excellent. Tried the Umami, Truffle, and Chicken Shoyu. Also, had the smushed potatoes, thin fries, and tempura onion rings. Also drank ginger beer, orange crush, and vanilla creme sodas. Really liked the Chicken Shoyu and the Umami burgers. The truffle was just okay. But the prices! Each burger is the size of a slider! Small, but costs 12-14 bucks. So, not sure I would go back.

Service: Excellent. You have to wait to be seated.

Atmosphere: trendy, casual. Lots of young hipsters.

Bottom line: would go back, but not good value for money. You're paying to be cool and hip and trendy. Which is okay.
