Great environment ... great atmosphere and ambiance. Great for couples. The food was good but you pay a little too much for the food and portion size in my mind. I won't be a regular but it is a great place to take your favorite somebody or a visitor from out of town and show off with your knowledge of this classy OC restaurant.

Tries to be trendy but food not great. We ordered crab that had to be ordered ahead of time earlier in the day because it had to be transported from Anqi's Beverly Hills location and it wasn't even that fresh. We didn't finish the beef dish because it was just too spicy and heavy so we took it home. The interior was kind of noisy with loud background music but there were a lot of young customers who seem to enjoy it. Overall it was not worth the money.

great location and ambience. we went early, in order to make it on time for our play at segerstrom. promptly seated on time. i love the ambience. the drinks are outstanding. and sharing many "small plates" is the way to go. everything is uniquely prepared and presented. of course, the "noodles" are the thing to not miss.

I had high expectations for this place and was expecting good food, good service, and a good price.

We made reservations and still had to wait 20 mins. When I made the reservation, the lady told me that the dress code was business casual. So we dressed pretty nice. When we got there, people were walking in with shorts and t-shirt (certainly not business casual).
We eventually got seated and waited a bit longer for them to bring the menu. Why they don't give us the menu when we get seated, I don't understand.

The food was good. I had the shaken beef which was pretty tender. The garlic noodles that everybody is raving about is just ok and the portion is small. Watch out for the hefty price on the drinks, which is $14.

When I go to a restaurant, I expect great service. The waiter who waited on us was fine, but the Italian manager for our area kept interrupting our waiter to wait on the table next to us and take orders for the Italian party. The manager even sat down at their table and chatted away so loudly, as if he was a guest. Unexcusable!

I suggest that you go next door to Charlie Palmer instead, where the food is great and the service is impeccable.
