The wait for 2 of us for brunch on Mother's Day was fairly long, but nice to lounge beneath the pine trees, sipping a watermelon fresca from Native Foods, and people watch :) Service was perfect and they made up for the long wait by extremely fast service of our fresh berry crepes, smoked salmon omlette with a fantastic little mixed green salad, and a large english muffin with amazing pistachio butter.

The food here was great! Well presented, fresh and tasty. My favourite is the quinoa salad - delicious! A hint of cajun with loads of veges. Although there was a short wait for a table, the wait list moved along quickly (~20 minutes). Killing time was not a problem as there are so many interesting shops to browse at The Camp.

Great breakfast meals are a lost art but not at the Old Vine Cafe. The French Toast is an art form and unlike many restaurants that equate quality with portions so small that one needs a magnifying glass to find a morsel, the portions are generous and remarkable in both presentation and taste. It is advisable to arrive early for breakfast because locals also appreciate the ambiance and flavors at the Old Vine Cafe and late arrivals will have to wait. The service is never hurried and the menu is one that I intend to explore in every visit I make to the Newport Beach area.

It gets busy at Old Vine but that's probably because the food is so good and it has a great atmosphere. The only pity is that they took the macadamia nut butter off of the menu.

My friend took me here as we are wine enthusiasts. I left also as a food enthusiast - the food is to die for! So fresh! I loved the salad to start the mozzarella was divine. The lamb was exquisite as well as the rigatoni. I will be back ASAP! If you are wanting to impress on a date or a cost night out with friends this is definately your place!
