We recently stayed at the Best Western Corte Madera. It was a nice hotel, quiet and convenient to local shops for necessities and restaurants. We stayed two nights. Drove about 1 hour from SFO. We took the Larkspur ferry into SF for the day. Convenient and the Best Western had a shuttle so we didn't even have to drive and park. Restaurants and shops nearby were good quality. We stayed in a family suite. It was a good size for what we needed. It's an older hotel but still good quality and well maintained. Air conditioning is a bit loud at times. Room was clean and no musty smells, like many hotels. While we were there, they did serve a continental breakfast in their on-property restaurant. It sounded like the restaurant was in transition. So not sure what they will do in regards to serving breakfast in the future. The front desk and all staff were excellent and very accommodating. Thanks BW Corte Madera.

First this place is a motel. Not sure how they get away with calling it a hotel. Rooms were large with a nice bathroom and decent beds. Great price. Nice and quiet. I would stay here again. On the website they call their free breakfast "deluxe" and show pictures of sausage and bacon. It's really cold boiled eggs and toast.

We arrived late and left relatively early so didn't have time to appreciate the property's amenities. This hotel would be great for families with kids wanting to stay near San Francisco: lush grassy areas, pool, hot tub, fitness room, shuffleboard. However, we arrived mid-week and the place was quiet between 10pm and 9am. The front desk clerk did not mention the option of a breakfast basket being delivered to our room. Instead, she pointed to an adjacent building (which currently is a vacated restaurant) and said a complimentary breakfast is served there. The breakfast options were fine ... nothing gourmet but enough to get you on your way.

Room Tip: Families with kids probably prefer a ground level room overlooking the pool and grassy area. We don...

Priced realistically compared to similar Good Hotels in SF. Easy access by hotel courtesy car to ferry , drop off in SF at pier and pick up. Avoid the parking charges at SF hotels . Also a decent swimming pool and hot tub. Skip the free breakfast ...at least until the breakfast room is up dated.

Good Staff. Nice Pool. Close to dining, shopping and freeway. Quick drive to Muir Redwoods, Stinson Beach etc. Nice place to relax after the crowds in San Francisco especially if you are heading north. Thought it was a little pricey but I probably could have got better rate if I reserved in advance instead of just dropping in.

This is an older hotel but renovated somewhat with comfortable beds. Good area for families with kids, olympic size pool, small putting greens for kids etc. It includes the standard free continental breakfast but being gluten intolerant did not work for me. Plus is there is an outside mall adjacent that has Starbucks and little bakeries.

It seemed to be everyone's first day. Normal check in already late (4:00) asked for early when I arrived at 1:00, they said they'd call. No call...arrived at 4:00, still not ready, waited in lobby until 5:25 Not placed near the wedding party's block of rooms, instead stuck with the Delta House gang where they were packed 6 in a room playing quarters until 2:00 am Nice facility but if you charge big boy rates you need to provide big boy service.

Dear Guest , thank you for taking the time to post your review. We do apologize for the probablems you encountered. Your room assignment was based on the type of room that you booked on line. That type of room with the two queen beds are soley located in the building.which we checked you into. Also, we do not make reservations for rooms with six persons to the room, however it appears that some inconsiderate guests decided to congrate in a near by room. We always do our best to ask guests to be considerate of our other guests. Thank you, Bill Blackburn, General Manager
