My wife's father used to take her to eat here five decades ago, so they have a long tradition of cooking great food. Their hamburger on sourdough bread has more taste than any hamburger we have ever had. Caesar Salad made tableside is a classic with real flavors rather than bottled dressing. The minestrone soup has the classic flavors like soups simmered on the back burner of so many Italian grandma's stoves. Food is fresh, served hot and delicious. Service is very good. Use your GPS to get here as it's on a service road parallel to the freeway. The fried cream is sometimes still available and was a special dessert for my wife as a little girl.
