“Average and NOT Yummy.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 23, 2012 via mobile

I thought I was going to have similar experience as the Village Pizzaria and I was super disappointed.
I had their calzone and for ricotta cheese they used cottage cheese.
Cheaper calzone by 4$ compare to Village Pizzaria but by far not tasty at all.
This gets you with their soft drink with no refill.

“A little pricey but good pizza, for sure!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 4, 2012

We stopped here as we walked from the Coronado ferry landing to the Hotel Del. Second time to visit this place and the pizza was great both times. Not a fancy place by any means and that's why I say the price is a bit high. But, you can't beat a good pizza.

“A family favorite!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 30, 2012

We always go to Alexanders when on Coronado! This past week, we took my son's college buddies out to dinner. 2 large pizzas and an order of wonderful garlicky pizza dough were more than enough for 9 of us-and these were hungry college boys! We had quite a bit left over. Love the place. No frills, good food. There is a patio out back-never knew it existed until this last trip!

“Great, great pizza.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 20, 2012

This is pizza the way it is supposd to be. Delicious, home made crust, lots of cheese and peppperoni and big slices. The only downside to this place is the ambiance. Both indoor and out side seating is available but nothing to write home about. This seems to be a common theme in Coronado. But if you want a gooey, tasty, spicy and out of this world slice, this is the pace to come too. Just like New York style.

“Not prepared”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 14, 2012

Went here for dinner on a Sunday night after the concert in the park. We left the concert early knowing it would get busy. The food was good, but they were not prepared for the crowds of people coming their way. There is a concert every Sunday evening. Why was this a surprise? The pizza was over priced, but you pay more for everything on Coronado.
