“Nice size theater with good plays”
Reviewed February 14, 2013

Was a season ticket holder. Too far to drive, so we stopped. The talent is good and enjoyable. There is a nice cafe adjacent to the theater that is nice.

“Enjoyment Always”
Reviewed January 16, 2013

When we are in Coronado, and there is a play to see we will always go. The theater is a perfect size and good seats where ever you sit. The actors are all a family that play many parts in the different plays seen there. Take the time to see a play while in Coronado, CA.

“Christmas at the Del”
Reviewed January 15, 2013

My wife and I visited the inter-action theatre of Christmas at the Hotel Del Coronado, circa 1900. The actors were all in period custumes and sang and played the parts of a family, as we the audience were part of also. Brought us back to a time before TV and commercialism to enjoy Christmas.

“Always Excellent”
Reviewed December 23, 2012

We have attended many performances at Lamb's. They are always well done, and done in good taste. These is no proliferation of "four letter words" as found in other stage productions. Musicals at Lamb's are especially enjoyable. The theater itself is excellent. Have dinner in one of Coronado's fine restaurants and enjoy the show!

“Creative Magic”
Reviewed November 16, 2012

During our week long stay in Coronado, my family and I had the pleasure to attend "Around the World in 80 Days" at Lamb's.

It's located a short walk from the the Del along Orange, the main street, in an historic building. They have a neat, comfy set-up along with a nice cafe. There's also an unique and fun candy store next door which our kids loved while waiting for the show.

It's an intimate setting in the theatre, and all the seats are good due to the sloping of the seating. We enjoyed this Jules Verne classic including our 6 & 9 year olds whose very creative and imaginative minds eagerly caught on to it even with the minimal sets and limited actors.

The costumes were nice and the actors entertaining. They used some special effects like trapdoors, ladders, and a large "stuffy" elephant to heighten the experience. I liked the snow falling scene and the heroine lifting up her hands in wonderment of it all. For such a long novel, the writer really did an amazing editing job, capturing the essence with a bit of romance and fun.

A terrific night for all!
