We ate with a group of 10 and I was unimpressed. The staff was dripping water all over us as they filled glasses, wine was dripped on our heads, all first and main courses were delivered to the wrong person. Service was slow and the decor was very outdated. The food was average and the view was beautiful. Nice spot if you aren't looking for a memorable meal.

We came to Coronado at the spur of the moment, as a result we had no reservations. They gave us a table with a view of the bay, however, they said that that was for the baby. The menu was varied with something for everyone, everyone enjoyed what they had ordered. The service was good if a little forgetful, All in all it was a pleasant experience

Beautiful views of skyline and Bay, has been good food but not consistent over the years, surf and turf rolls are delicious. They used to do cute things for birthdays when it was owned by charthouse. Not anymore, it's almost like a bother to tell them it's your birthday, but they don't do anything special anyways. We only go there for a cocktail and the rolls and then head elsewhere like Morton's for birthday dinner.

Overall good experience. Service was very good. The server knew the menu well and made good recommendations. The food wasn't as good as the service. The apps were fair (crab, avocado, and mango stack and the PuPu platter). I had the Togarashi seared scallops. The Asian vegetables were just OK and the scallops were fair. The lava cake for dessert was the best food item we had. Nice atmosphere and view.

Delicious, fresh seafood with stunning views towards San Diego. Very large portions were a real surprise, as was the alcohol content of the cocktails! Recommended for seafood lovers and lovers of retro dining ambience.
