“Great View & Nice Menu Selections”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

Visiting friends in San Diego they thought I would like to dine here. Located on the harbor it was a beautiful location. They could use more lounge space because we had to wait for a place to sit & have coctails prior to our 7:30 pm reservation. Once we did have a seat we noted that the lounge tables were rather high for the seating--it felt as if we were having food served on a table the same height as our mouths. I enjoyed a moscat sangria--very fruity & refreshing while my friends had some wine. Ordered coconut shrimp & they were yummy. We asked for & were seated at a table by the window that had some obstructive viewing but for the most part gave a nice view of the the harbor & San Diego at night with lights twinkling. Shared a spectacular 1st course of crabmeat, avocado & mango stack. Look exactly as described & was delicious. It was quite large & perfect to share among 3-4 people. I would consider ordering this as a luncheon entree if offered. Friend also had a caesar salad which was fine. All of decided upon one of the signature dishes: Halibut in a frangelico sauce with macadamia nuts & banana. Presented with a side of rice (jasmine?) also with bits of nuts & red pepper. This was superb! One of the best dishes to try. Fish was fresh & everything tasted wonderful. Ordered a bottle of 2010 Conundrum which complemented the meal nicely. Dessert was slice of ice cream pie on chocolate crust drizzled with chocolate sauce & chopped nuts. Again sharing with 3-4 people was perfect. Very good service--not rushed & able to enjoy the view & conversation. Appetizer was $14 & entrees were approx $38/ea. Somewhat pricey but I can say that in this case you get what you pay for: great view/location, many food options that are beautifully presented and tasting. I absolutely would recommend these items as the best on the menu & you will be happy.

“A highlight to end a wonderful San Diego day”
Reviewed May 6, 2013

This is the way to end a wonderful day, overlooking the city skyline with superb water views. A very appealing entrance and walk to the tables by the large windows. Delightful atmosphere! We had a sushi platter, miso soup and sake. Excellent presentation and a taste to match. The service was outstanding as well. This will be our first choice for dining whenever we can return to the area. The location by the ferry landing and shopping area just enhances the experience as well. Highly recommend!

“Great Steak”
Reviewed May 4, 2013

I know, you visited and ate steak? Well, they don't have plain fried shrimp! So, we tried the filet and prime rib. Absolutely delicious! Beautiful view! Great Service from a Southern girl!

“Great Happy Hour”
Reviewed May 4, 2013

Drinks are very reasonable for Happy Hour and the food menu for 3:00-6:30 is quite impressive. The place was packed. Great view of the city of San Diego and all the boats on the water! Really nice!
