Chez Loma is an inviting bistro offering serious food as an alternative to the many tourist cafes in Coronado. Located just off the main drag of Orange Avenue and only a block or so from the Del Coronado hotel, the restaurant presents a nicely-balanced menu of bistro classics. Good warm bread begins the evening followed by perfectly-dressed salads. Service is pleasant and professional, and there is an attractive, small bar area in front. The whole space is divided into separate rooms which makes for a quiet, relaxed dining experience. You probably won't read about Chez Loma in the standard tourist guides, but it is definitely worth a visit. We enjoyed our first meal there so much we went back for another two nights later.
