Went here for dinner one evening that we stayed in Coronado.
The service was great and the food superb.
You should try their bacon bloody mary that is to die for. We also had the baked brie, the squash soup, the chinese pork chops and the beet salad. All tasted very delicious and the portion size was perfect.
Had a really nice evening over there and would come back in a heartbeat!

Love the decor, wood with rustic exposed brick. The bar was warm and staff was very friendly. We got there just seconds before the "Social hour" ended and still got a good pour of the house wine at a special price (Thanks)

We ordered the seasoned almond and the pretzel. Both were fresh and tasty. House wine "Stickybeak" was very good. I ordered a Moscow Mule and it came in a vintage copper mug.
The music was also outstanding. Gonzo and a two others who rocked on guitars and drums tunes from the 70's on forward. Just a great place! Highly Recommend this place!

A great dining experience. After reading TA reviews I had to try the Truffle Fries AND they were outstanding. Dinner was excellent. Recommend a reservation, especially is you want a table near the window. You can then experience all the activity of Coronado and a great meal. This is not a restaurant you rush thru; take your time. Service was just as great as the food. Highly recommend. Menu changes so there is always something new to experience.

We tried to get into this restaurant on Saturday but the wait was 2 hours. we made a reservation for the following evening and when asked selected the restaurant over the lounge. When we arrived we were setaed in the lounge which was noisy due to Sunday Night Football. Had to deal with the Hostess to be seated in the restaurant because there was a large party already taking up about half the tables. We got what we wanted. The food was average but a bit over priced (but hey it's Coronado). The service was also only average. Wife asked for a chardonnay that was on the menu and I asked for a beer. They were out of the requesetd Chardonnay and instead of asking the waiter just brought another. It had to go back. Instead of a beer I received a hard cider. It had to go back.

That said the place is very popular and crowded.

My boyfriend and I stumble upon this place whilst on holiday. We'd not made a reservation but wee lucky enough to get a table (the restaurant become very busy a little later) the food was delicious. We had three courses for $30 and each one was yummy. After we'd finished dinner we sat at the bar till closing time, the cocktails I had (hot and sweet (chipotle infused tequila) and a special with peach infused bourbon) were amazing, we had a great night. make sure you go here if you're in Coronado :)
