Felt like one of the herd last night. Not our idea of a relaxing experience. No seating, which is not unusual for a tasting, but we were squished into a corner in staff's anticipation of a large tasting group, even though the tasting area was practically empty when we arrived on time for our 5:30 reservation. Nice lady pouring described the wines well, but this establishment should be ashamed that only ONE of seven wines offered for tasting was a California wine. Unfortunately we found nothing on the list that was "to die for", mostly middle-of-the-road wines using inflated price tags to masquerade as special. Could it be that this chain franchise establishment is geared more toward capturing the tourist buck? All the chintzy coasters and fake plastic "spilled wine" glasses offered for sale sure gave that impression. And the term "live jazz" suggests more than one guy with a saxophone and a computer. We've been to hundreds of tastings, and in a nutshell, if you are an aficionado or want a relaxing experience, this probably is not the place for you.

A neat little place to taste great wines and shop for wine gifts. This Wine Tasting room is in the middle of town on Orange Ave. Only a few blocks from the Hotel Del(which is a must see).
