“Try this even if you're 60 yrs old!”
Reviewed November 2, 2012

The Segway tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Coronado. I was a little apprehensive about being able to actually ride a Segway without running into something but with the encouragement of our wonderful guide, Carl, I gave it a try. After a few "rocking horse" moments, I got the hang of riding this amazing machine. And I am so glad I did.
The feeling of breezing down sidewalks through beautiful neighborhoods and along the coastline was unlike any other walking or biking tour I've taken.
There were opportunities for breaks during our 2 1/2 hr tour and each of us was given a bottle of water at the start.
Even if you're 60 yrs old, as my husband and I are, you should really give this a try.

“Can't have a bad segway tour”
Reviewed October 11, 2012

This tour is somewhat limited by where you can go on Coronado, but what you can see and do is great. Three great photo ops, one by the Hotel Del, one with the bridge and one with downtown San Diego in the background. We scurried down quiet streets with beautiful homes before making our way on bike paths under the bridge and around to the Ferry Landing. Then we retraced our path. This is our 6th city to ride Segways in and they are always a lot of fun.

“Great fun”
Reviewed October 1, 2012

We booked our Segway tour whilst in San Diego, easily booked and confirmed through the Internet and e-mail. We got training on how to use the Segway then we had an hour and a half tour. We went down to the coastline and saw the golf course, the Coronado bridge, park and the ferry landing. It would have been nice to see the hotel Del Coronado and a bit more of the island, I felt that we spent most of our time viewing residential streets which all looked similar. Having said that, it was good fun, enjoyed using the Segway, and our guide was pleasant. Would recommend.

“Lots of fun!”
Reviewed September 17, 2012

This is our third Segway tour as part of a vacation. They are easy to ride and remembering how to do it is easy as well. We spent about 15 minutes going over the riding basics and then toured part of Coronado. Our guide was knowledgeable and personable. I would have liked to have seen more of the Island and maybe gone down the Silver Strand a bit.

“Fun way to get accquainted with Coronado”
Reviewed August 30, 2012

The Segways are fun to glide on and a great way to cover a lot of ground without walking. We took the Coronado Deluxe and got an overivew and orientation of the history of the island, We glided past Coronado Beach, The Hotel Del, beautiful homes and gardens, parks, under the Coronado Bridge and got a fabulous view of the San Diego skyline.
