Stopped in to the "Brig", as locals call it, for an afternoon beer and a plate of chicken nachos. Great place to watch traffic drive by and people watch. Service was great and the food was pretty darn good. The Napa Valley Nachos consists of housemade potato chips, grilled chicken, fontina and Point Reyes blue cheese, bacon, green onions and sour cream.... this works, period. Twelve bucks and worth every dime. Couple that with a couple cold beers, a great view and a warm San Diego afternoon and it just doesn't get much better. Check this place out for great food!

Brigatine has good seafood, but with a diverse menu sufficient to satisfy most tastes. I had a good Fish & Chips with a good beer. It has a very nice decor with plenty of seating and good service. They have a large bar with a number of tables in the bar area. For some reason they don't use these for regular seating but we found them perfectly satisfactory. Well worth returning to.

As always the Brig hits the mark. We have been going here since 1974. Although some things have changed over the years the friendly staff and great food hasn't. We don't get there as often but it is still one of our "go to" destinations for special occasions and out of town company.

Very clean and relaxed place to eat and have a drink. We like to eat in the bar, or a table in the bar. The two male bartenders had been working there 30 and 32 years. Very friendly and very professional. We went on Wednesday and it was half price bottles of wine. Had a Paso Robles Cab for $18.00. Great fish tacos for $10.00. Will be back again.
