A great place to stroll and/or take photos of the beautiful flowers and grounds. It's one of those places you'll want to visit again and again.

Lovely little spot. If you are strolling through CDM on PCH to do some shopping. Not a large botanical garden like Huntington or anything, so tourists may not want to go out of their way. BUT if you are already in the area, worth a look-see. Cute little cafe on the grounds. We stopped by after going to the Saturday morning farmer's market down the street. Lots of locals stop by for lunch. Some nice little things in gift shop. Every year there is a garden tour of local homes hosted by Sherman Gardens that is fun and FABULOUS! You will get a chance to see some private gardens that will give you great ideas for your own home and inspire you to hit up a nursery and get digging! (Rogers Gardens is nearby and absolutely the best nursery I have ever visited - a gardener's paradise!)

Several of my girlfriends and I found this little gem in Newport. Its not very big but they have some beautiful gardens to look at, a lovely gift shop and what looked to be a nice cafe. Free parking across the street.

We visited the Gardens for the first time on Aug.1 2012, and we were so impressed. Parking was free and the entrance fee was only $3 per person and well worth it. The gounds are immaculate and creatively planted with so many different varieties of plants and flowers, some I had never seen before. A true journey of discovery! The colors, landscaping, ponds, pathways and fountains, were spacious and provided a tranquil place to walk, reflect, and relax from the fast pace of the day to day. Easy walking. The cafe is situated in the garden with plenty of shade for the sunny days. White linen table cloths and napkins along with the beautiful and unique place to enjoy lunch was truly specal. The food was really good. We opted for the three-course lunch and loved every bite. They have a nice wine list, too. Staff is friendly, helpful and genuinely nice. The gift shop is large with lots of gift varieties. They even sell plants! I will definatley return.
