Owner description: At the mouth of Cold Water Canyon, beneath the towering Santa Ana Range, Glen Ivy Hot Springs lies sheltered by the mountains and open to the sky. Water flows from deep in the earth into this natural sanctuary, as it has for countless generations. The first commercial use of the mineral springs can be traced back to 1860, and for more than 150 years Glen Ivy Hot Springs has attracted people who seek the benefits of nature, water and exercise, the pleasures of good food and camaraderie with others - the relaxation, renewal, and deep sense of well-being a day at the hot springs can bring.

“Decadence at a price”
Reviewed December 11, 2011

Being aware that spas can be expensive, my experience at Glen Ivy was pleasant in indulging in a hot rock massage, lunch, and time in the baths and pools that dot the resort. The staff were very polite and helpful in recommending services, but be prepared to pay a moderate amount of money to truly enjoy the experience. Food choices were abundant, but the cafeteria line setup was confusing for guests who weren't sure where to start with their order. Everything is paid for on a card with an amount that you designate, so that helps in minimizing the items you have to carry on you. The locker rooms were spacious and were available for customer use in storing extra garments and belongings and you can stay at the resort for as long as you want to enjoy relaxing by the pools after any scheduled spa appointments. Overall a beautiful and tropical experience, just be prepared to label the day as indulgent in order to not feel guilty over the price.

“BEST Spa deal”
Reviewed December 10, 2011

BEST deal for an awesome spa experience!

This huge facility has an outdoor mud bath, mineral pools, spas, baths etc. for less than $60/pp for pretty much however long you want to stay that day! It's not the fanciest, but definitely a great value.

It was such an interesting experience. Basically, you can slather mud on yourself in a mud fountain and mud pool and it leaves your skin feeling SO soft! We also tried slathering mud into our hair and it felt great!

The mineral baths were so soothing!

A perfect, affordable place to come with BFFs!

“Great experience”
Reviewed December 9, 2011

Glen Ivy is simply fantastic! It's a beautiful, unique spa that is mostly outdoors, so it's best to go when the weather is nice. The grotto and clay mud baths were fun first-time experiences for me. Lunch was healthy and delicious too. I hear it's crowded on the weekends, so try to go during the week if possible. I wish I could live at Glen Ivy! :)

“paradise for a day”
Reviewed December 9, 2011

Glen Ivy hot springs is the best day spa in southern california. The grounds are beautiful. There are a wide variety of soaking pools. The red clay bath (club mud) is awesome. They have a variety of different ongoing activites. Aqua aerobics, Tai chi and yoga that is included in the admission price. The cafe serves great salds and sandwiches. If you want a great day time getaway to unwind and relax Glen Ivy is the place.
