“feels like dinner at Grandma's on Sunday night, italian style!”
Reviewed October 27, 2011

Have been coming to NYPD for many years, so much so that in our house it's simply called NY. We usually are there on Saturday and Sunday mornings for the lunch crowd ( a bunch of former New Yorkers) and enjoying the great food and the stories from the new friends we've made there. The pizza is amazing, the Pasta Fagiole soup is the best I've ever had and the pastas are divine. Just everything is so good that to pick a few is impossible. Go, make a plan to cruise your way around the menu and keep going back, you won't be sorry! Mike and Linda, the owners, are great at making you feel like you just stopped in for a chat and lunch at their home. Wonderful place and wonderful family!

“Good but FILTHY”
Reviewed July 22, 2011

I've been here a few times, and the silverware and dishes are always dirty. This time I ordered take out, and since they made the mistake of putting the dressing on the side even though I asked them to toss it, dirt could clearly be seen on many of the caesar romaine lettuce pieces. I paid almost $10 for this salad and just threw it all in the trash. Also got no napkins, no plastic forks, no butter for the bread... That was definately my last time there.

Homemade fresh delicious italian food. I love their baked pastas. The fresh garlic knots. The handsdown most amazing eggplant parm.

Best pizza and amazing chicken dishes. I have brought family and friends alike to eat here instead of cooking at home - you can have a nice family dinner here!

“Probably the best pizza anywhere within 20 miles. As authentic as it gets!!!”
Reviewed September 6, 2010

Tried this place for the first time as a recommendation from a friend on thursday. I loved the pizza sooo much, i went back the following sunday after church and brought 15 of my friends and family with me after church. They all loved it!!! Greeat atmosphere, superb service, and the food is great!!! The prices were sooo reasonable, i felt like we were stealing. If you want a real pizza PIE, then this is your place. NO! it is not a pizza hut or BJ's. That isn't real pizza, that is corporate crap that is adequate, but NYPD pizza is real New York pizza!!!
