“Great spot!”
Reviewed May 24, 2013 via mobile

We stopped in for one night on our way to Disneyland. The rooms were huge and cozy. The pool was great and refreshing for both the adults and children.

It was nice having the cassino so close for those who wanted to go out for a bit.

The breakfast was at the cassino buffet. The selection was great but very smokey. My kids hated the smoke.

The staff was very friendly and egar to help.

Be sure to visit the Olive Pit in town to taste some yummy olives and other treats. :)

We are so glad you found us! This is a perfect stop for families on their way to theme parks in southern California. We have safe and guarded parking, several choices of restaurants and a terrific pool and Jacuzzi for our guests. It is too bad the restaurant at the casino was smoky on the day you visited, usually the air filters do a great job of removing that odor. We hope you will stay with us again!

We came for our anniversary weekend and wanted to go to Mt. Lassen Park. We stopped at Corning because of the Casino and decided to stay the evening. Even with the AAA rating discount we feel the rooms were a little overpriced. The next day we headed out for our day and found that the roads were closed at the Park and came back and stayed an additional night. We were accommodated and got to stay in the same room but the room was more for the weekend. I think this hotel is very nice and we would stay again but I feel they would make more customers feel better about there stay if they offer special discounts or rates.

Kim, we are glad that our hotel provided you with a comfortable and clean stay during your trip to Northern California. Thank you for your kind comments! We try to stay competitive with other comparable hotels in our area, but the best time to find value rates is mid-week or during the winter months. I hope you will try another trip to Lassen Park, it is a sight well worth seeing. There is a site online, if you type in "Lassen Park current conditions" which will let you know about any closures in the future, or if you ask our hotel staff when you visit, we would be happy to look that up for you.
I do hope we can meet your needs on your next trip, and thank you so much for choosing us!

My husband and I travel each spring to Corning because of our honey business, I can't say enough about staying here. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The pool and area around it were as well and the breakfast that was provided free was amazing. The manager of the hotel was helpful and welcoming. We plan on definitely staying here again.

Room Tip: We had a room overlooking the pool and hot-tub..which worked out just fine for us.

We stayed here on our way to Oregon and on the way back from Oregon. A nice large room that's always been nice and clean and a great buffet breakfast with lots of great choices. Friendly and helpful personnel. We stay here whenever we're in the area.

Thank you for your review, Steve! I showed this to our maintenance man and he is looking into getting a better performance out of our hot tub. He has purchased new jets, since he found that some of the old ones were broken. I have every confidence that it will be better the next time you visit. I do hope that our special CDL rate, the great buffet breakfast in the casino and our friendly staff will bring you back to stay with us again. We listen carefully to our guests comments and try to make things just right for them.

We stayed a couple of days here for a staycation. The lobby was very nice with a southwest feel. All of the employees we met where very friendly. We chose a pet friendly room that runs around
$107.00 per night for room, pet fee, buffet breakfast and taxes. The room was nice, clean and basic, nothing fancy. The best part was the free pet care center. Very nice facility with indoor and outdoor runs. All of the employees that worked there were great. It was so nice to have a safe place to leave our pup so we could enjoy the dinner buffet and slots.

We had traveled 5-8 hours a day for 3 days to a conference where we sat for 4 days and were on the last night of our way home. We found the Inn at Rolling Hills on a map and, because it was pet friendly and right off of the freeway, decided to stay there. What a treat! The motel was beautifully and warmly decorated and we felt right at home immediately. The rooms were good sized. They had a great place for walking the dog. The casino was fun and we even came out a bit ahead. The food at the casino totally surprised us! It was wonderful, even better than many of the places we had visited on other trips. We ended a very tiring 10 days feeling like we were on vacation. In fact, we intend to go back to the Inn for just a couple of days of relaxing during the summer or fall.
