Great place to try many olive varieties and treatments. Staff were in a state of cleaning up and closing down (one hour before closing) and seemed distracted by our being in the store.

This is close to a highway exit and makes for a nice little stop along the way. Also great to buy a souvenir!

Who would have thunk it? A gourmet establishment in Corning. The olive bar is terrific and free; truly incredible quality olives. The wine bar is a deal at $5 for five tastes; some surprisingly good local wines. I made dinner both nights out of one of their large sandwiches (recommend the cibbatta-probably spelled that wrong)-forget the name, but it had ham, salami, provolone and local chopped olives. There is a condiment bar to finish it off; a buck extra for avocado and a buck fifty for a side of potato salad. Enough dinner for a 250 lb. guy; the sandwiches could easily be shared for lunch. Also very friendly people; a very nice young woman staffed the wine bar who was pretty knowledgable. Again, a surprising find. If it was in an urban area, I'd probably give it 4/5 but in the setting in which it's located it's 10/5.

If you like a lot of items offered that you can't find elsewhere the stop at the olive pit. Wife wants me too stop every time we are in the area. The different combination of olives along with there spices and wines, jams and vinegars keeps her busy. They have a tasting are that is always crowded but worth waiting your turn so you can enjoy many unique items.
The restaurant is a stand at the counter and order small if your lucky you can find a seat. Regular counter food burgers dogs and such. The unique part is they take there balsamic vinegars and make milk shakes with them. I had the blueberry balsamic vinegar hake it was out of this world such a surprise. They have a large staff that is very helpful. Recommend this experience .

We followed the directions on I-5 to reach this great place. Got to taste various kinds of olives , olive oil and Balsamic vinegar, Habanero-stuffed, Turkish Pepper-stuffed, Bluecheese stuffed, Manzanillo Olives. Good quality olives, crispy, flavorful.

Staff is eager to help and give more information, always a queue to relish the mouth-watering variety of olives they had.
