If you want some delicious French cuisine and don't mind slow service, this is the place to go in Concord. The duck is wonderful, the French Onion soup is a meal in itself, and the creme brûlée is excellent. Sitting at the bar for dinner is my preference. Good wine selection. Located in Downtown Concord across from Skippolini's.

We are always looking for a fine dining experience in Concord. We decided to try La Sen on Christmas Eve. Boy did we hit the jackpot! We have finally found one of the - if not the - BEST restaurants in Concord!
The entire meal - from the warm delicious bread and dipping sauce/pesto (sooo good!) to the dessert was outstanding.
For the main course, one of us had the lamb and the other had the scallops. (we split our dinners so we could both sample each entrée. We had done the same with the soup and salad, too).
Everything was wonderful! We were very pleased. The waiter was very charming. It was truly a delightful experience. Thank you, La Sen, for the lovely Christmas Eve dinner!

This small, intimate restaurant is not to be missed. Our party of nine was greeted warmly. We were provided with French bread and the best pesto I have EVER had! While I can understand why they declined my request for the recipe, that was the only disappointment of the evening. The pesto consisted of a decadent combination of parsley, cilantro, garlic and olive oil. It was so delicious that it should be an entree item!! The escargot was buttery and perfectly cooked in the shells. My salmon with tomatoes and olives was some of the best I have ever had. It was grilled to perfection and melted in my mouth. Other diners had fried calamari, beef bourguignon, vegetable lasagna and all were pleased with their appetizers and entrees. They do not serve liquor, but do have a decent wine selection. We would definitely return to this French gem!

Steak tartar, scallops on risotto, filet mignon..all very good with beautiful presention. Wine list adequate. Fairly modestly priced especially for french food. Looking forward to returning and trying the other menu items as well as the service. Space is a little crowded but not a deterent.

Four of us (my wife & I and another couple/good friends) showed up at the exact time of our reservation, but had to wait about 20 minutes for a table. We realized it was Bastille Day and the other customers were enjoying themselves and in no hurry to leave (a good sign). The staff apologized at least twice. We were glad this relatively new restaurant was doing well.

It was worth the wait. Good food, good wine, good atmosphere, and attentive & friendly service.

This was our second visit and the dinner was better than the first time - so we will definitely go back.
