I will start out by saying that the restaurant was undergoing some kind of remodeling. The lobby did not have any chairs for waiting and none were offered even for the 88 year old in our party. Even with a reservation, we were seated almost a half hour wait. The greeters seems confused.
When we were finally seated, the slow service continued. We noticed diners at other tables getting quicker service. Our server was very slow to return and we had to remind her about forgotten drinks and appetizers. The noise level was almost painful.
The chef did put on a great show, but some in our party were unhappy with the delivery sequence. Orders with fried rice were placed in front of the diner only to wait fifteen minutes for the main dish. Same with an order of chicken and shrimp. The chicken cooled waiting for the shrimp. I know the chef cannot make everything at once, but there should be some way of keeping different parts of the meal warm.
The menu is large and too complicated. With the noise level and an indifferent server, confusion reigned. Why do some entries come with ice cream and others nothing?
