“Service is Slow during Lunch Time”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 3, 2012

The food is very good, however do be in a rush at lunch time. takes them 2o to 25 minutes after you order for them to bring you your food. Faster service would be me and my co workers back at lunch time.

“Beer and Fry Daddy”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 27, 2012

Yes, there are some ways you can avoid eating fried food here but if you are going to drink beer, why bother? This is a regular hangout for us primarily for the beer. We have tried most items on the menu including the Club Sandwich, the French Dip, all of the entree salads, the Buffalo Chicken Strip Sandwich, the Steak and Cubano Wraps, the veggie burger, the Fish&Chips and the Grilled Sausage Trio. We have also tried the Super Fries on the appetizer menu (lots of garlic!). Most of the food sits rather heavily especially after a few beers, but there are no surprises here. Portions are large.

The beers are very good. We particularly like the Evil Cousin and Evil Twin. Others we like include Doublecrossed Eye 'PA, Plankwalker Pale Ale, Stone IPA, Greenflash Hop Head Red, and Drakes Blonde Ale. The waitstaff will bring you a sample if you are unsure you want to order a full glass of a particular beer.

Food prices are typical for the area: $10 for a sandwich, appetizers are $6-$12, entrees $10 to 14.

The setting on Todos Santos Plaza provides for good people watching and on a nice day you can sit on the patio.

The place fills up for lunch and on weekends and the service can be slow. But why hurry when there are so many good beers to try, a games on the t.v.s over the bar, and lots to look at outside? The waitstaff is friendly and helpful regarding the menu and the beer.

The inside can be very noisy so pick a spot in the back or outside if you don't want to lip read.

“Good Pub Grub Sketchy Beer Availability”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 21, 2012

Been here a few times. Always good food, but service and beer availability can be iffy. One trip there was not enough wait staff, although the young lady was really moving trying her best. However twice they ran out of the Phair brew we had chosen. We will be back, knowing full well of what to expect.

“Consistence is the Key here”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 31, 2011

What to expect on every visit-
Great beer.
They've got something for everyone, whether you are the occasional beer drinker or a bonafide beer snob.
Good food.
Not the best food around, but good EVERY time. This is the key that keeps me coming back. Haven't had a meal I didn't like in 20 visits.
TV.
If there is a sports game on, EJ's will have it. But you don't have be into sports to have an enjoyable visit.
Friendly staff.
They are happy to suggest new things and will allow you to try a beer before you order a pint.
