“Ghost town feel”
Reviewed March 27, 2012

The weather was cold and sprinkle so not conducive to exploring as well as we would've liked.

“Great for kids”
Reviewed February 25, 2012

Columbia, if you haven't visited is worth your time if you want to set back in time to a real working mother lode era town. Dressed in era costume it's a real step back in time. Kids climb on rocks ride a stage coach or pan for gold. Columbia Candy Kitchen is a must stop where you can't resist the home made candy. Most of the time in the front window you can watch them making candy. The best is at the Cristmas season as you can watch them making candy canes and ribbons then taste them oh so fresh. Check out their web site for more information. Hope this review helps you.

“Take a trip back into history”
Reviewed February 25, 2012

And bring the kids! This history lesson is fun, because it is experiential and not in some book! Too many places within the park to mention. Just come and make a day of it!
