Dinner in the Jockey Club is a great experience. The dinner options with a steak, prime rib or osso bucco and a salad are the right size portions for comfort. The osso bucco was delicious. Make sure to order fresh vegetables or fruits grown at near the ranch - always delicious. The fresh blueberry cobbler is a winner.

“Hard to beat”
Reviewed June 14, 2013

The perfect rest stop on Interstate 5. We always time our trip to get there at lunchtime. Really can't go wrong with anything on the extensive menu, but the Mexican specialties are very good, especially the fajitas and enchiladas. Fresh, fresh ingredients right off the farm and ranch. Don't miss the bakery in the gift shop--great cookies and brownies for the road.

“OK, not a must-see”
Reviewed June 9, 2013

Maybe we ordered the wrong thing. I had the tri-tip sandwich and it was good, but it wasn't great. My husband also ordered some type of sandwich and it was good too. I think we need to go back and try a full-on steak. The grounds are pretty and the bakery/gift shop is cute. The meat is fresh - that's for sure.
Since it's on our route home, I'm sure we'll go back another time, but we wont be ordering the sandwiches anymore.

“Great Breakfasts!”
Reviewed June 5, 2013

When we travel I-5, if we are near Harris Ranch around breakfast time, we stop there. We love their breakfasts and have always found them to be consistently good with excellent quality ingredients and fresh squeezed orange juice. They are a little higher priced, but the atmosphere is nice and we have always had excellent service. We've never been there in the evening or for lunch so we can't comment on that.

“Overpriced, below average, and more”
Reviewed June 3, 2013

We stopped on a trip. After seeing the prices, we decided on a $15 burger and a $13 panini. The panini was tasteless, not on the correct bread, and came lukewarm. The burger was below average;; only finished less than a half. Service was average.

You could get the same quality, or maybe better quality, at any fast food place on the highway. Avoid Harris Ranch, stop at a chain and save money without losing anything in quality,
