Old Crocker Inn is everything we wished for and then some! An old hunting lodge perched atop a hill overlooking the vineyards, away from everything and very quiet. Dripping with old world charm, the place is extremely clean and well maintained. Also, they allow pets in the cottage rooms, so it was nice to have our baby girl with us. Were able to go for long hikes in the morning and evening on the surrounding hills and admire the scenery and the abundant wildlife. The gourmet breakfast was cooked and served by the owners themselves and was to die for. The majority of hotels offer continental breakfast, so to our surprise our breakfast was healthy and fresh, with muffins and scones just out of the oven, fresh fruit and scrumptious home cooking in a beautiful presentation every morning. The Wine Passport we received at check-in allowed us to taste free of charge at a lot of wineries and we also got a discount on the wines we purchased. Marcia and Tony were extremely friendly and accommodating, we were literally treated like family the moment we stepped in the door. I read many reviewers complaining that the inn is too secluded and far away. If you are enjoying big, shiny hotels in the bustling downtown of a city, then this place is not for you. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants a quiet, romantic getaway. We'll definitely be back!

We stayed at the Old Crocker Inn for only one night, but we loved it! The room was beautiful and the view was fantastic. We had to leave very early to get back to Torrance to celebrate my husband's birthday, but Tony and his wife went out of their way to prepare us a wonderful, hot breakfast.

Yes, the Inn is secluded, but we really enjoyed it. It has a much different feel from Napa. We tasted wine in Geyserville from very small vineyards. Some of the wine was served by the actual wine maker.

We were hoping to fish in the nearby streams, but the water level was too low. So we will return after the rainy season. Fishing and wine- makes for a great vacation.

The Inn is a secluded hideaway with a great breakfast. It is, however, well past it's prime. Take a picnic - the drive to a reasonable meal is at least 30 minutes. Innkeepers are friendly and accommodating.

My husband and I stayed here again this past weekend. It's such a treat. Our room was great. Nice touches (great bathrobes, chocolates, etc). Very interesting inn keepers. Breakfast is fantastic. The place is just terrifiic. I highly recommend.

My husband and I stayed in the Huntington room for 3 nights and loved it; so comfortable, loved the bed, and the pillows I wanted to take home with us. Loved the fireplace, and the wrap around porch. The inn itself is a bit of out of the way but well worth the drive. It's beautiful, quiet and comfortable. Marcia and Tony are wonderfully welcoming; there's another lady who works with them in the mornings, (unfortunately I forget her name) who was just great as well. The breakfasts were delicious, definitely homemade and not the run of the mill stuff. Marcia's breakfast margaritas are really special, loved them! Be sure to talk to Tony about his life and jobs; he's pretty amazing. Yes, to some he may seem gruff but that's just his way. The Old Crocker Inn will give you everything you need for a great getaway, peace, quiet, comfort, great breakfasts and nice people. Lots of wineries to go to. We would definitely go back and we highly recommend the Old Crocker Inn.

Room Tip: We loved our room and from the comments of others it sounds like all rooms are great.

I truly can't say enough good things about the Old Crocker Inn! My finace and I stayed there in late August and everything was wonderful. The Inn is up a long private road that leads to a somewhat secluded area, making for a very peaceful and beautiful setting. We stayed in the Clement, which was cozy and warm. Each morning we awoke to dear outside our window. We'd then walk to the main building to enjoy the delicous breakfast prepared fresh by their master chef. While the entire staff was very professional, they were also treated us as friends, as if we were invited into their home. There was huge movie, magazine, and book supply that they offered for us to borrow for when we weren't out sampling wines at nearby vineyards. They also prepared snacks and desserts fresh each evening. I can't wait to go back!!!

The Old Crocker Inn is a wonderful place to stay! The rooms and beds are very cozy. The setting is peaceful. The location is perfect! It is a good starting point if you are looking to explore some of the best wine country regions. Sonoma County wineries are beautiful, quaint, and laid back. There were 8 in our party and we really had a nice family vacation to Sonoma County. We loved our stay at the Old Crocker Inn - we all highly recommend it and hope to visit again someday! Our actual stay was in October 2012.
