“Hermitage Room”
Reviewed January 17, 2013

Hermitage Room -- our visit had us in the Hermitage room which is located in the main house. We were greeted by Roxanne when we arrived for our visit to the wineries. She directed us to wineries to visit with the short amount of time remaining that day...the family wineries ..good recommendation. Monday morning we arrived downstairs for a fabulous 3 course breakfast , not just your normal eggs, bacon, very French cuisine...asked about Sky Pine Vineyard the day before and she called and arranged tasting for any of the 10 people staying there on this day..that was so sweet.. We took her up on the invitation...what can I say ...she was the hostess with the mostest..now the B and B was like going to grandmas home...lots of antiques..relaxing and feel at home kind of place..would I recommend this..by all means..very comfortable stay...

I took way to long to leave a review about this place! My husband and I stayed here in August for an anniversary trip in 2012. We stayed in the suite and it was soooo romantic with the free standing tub and the incredible winery views. I loved the luxurious plush robes and the slippers they provided. Now, the food, was IN-CRED-IBLE! Talk about real cuisine! My husband isn't much of a breakfast food eater, but he finished every plate as fast as lightening. Each breakfast was served with fresh coffee, juice, and was a three course meal. Three course meal at breakfast!! Perfect if you're going wine tasting like we were haha. The owner has a wonderful personality and she makes you feel right at home. Not only she is very outgoing, but she is funny, and she can read people very well and knows how to keep the experience, light and fun. So stay here if you can and the suite is definitely worth the extra $$ :).

Room Tip: the suite!!

We visited here and stayed a couple of nights..it was a wonderful experience that we would like to repeat. The Inn was lovely..but Roxanne was AMAZING! She's an awesome cook and a WONDERFUL hostess. She makes you feel right at home around her breakfast table..she engages the conversation and keeps things lively and fun. She is VERY knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to ANYTHING to do In Sonoma. You are missing out if you go anywhere else.

This was our first stay at Auberge on the Vineyard. We stayed in on of the upstairs room in the Carriage House. Our room had a king bed (two twins placed together) and private bath with a claw foot tub. The room was nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable. Roxanne, the Inn Keeper, did a fantastic job of making us feel welcomed. The breakfast IS OUTSTANDING and well worth waiting for!!! Its location makes Auberge a great place to explore the surrounding wine country.

My girlfriend and I spent two nights here in the Echezueax room of the Carriage house. Roxanne was very friendly and BREAKFASTS WERE AMAZING, with the chef right there to share recipes. The room was clean and quiet with great views (as you can see in their video and pictures).

Cloverdale is a very small quaint town, so if you are looking for nightlife you'll have to head down to Healdsburg, but if you are looking for a nice escape and good wine for a couple days this is a beautiful spot to do it.

This was my second stay at Auberge and it only cemented my love of the place and host. We arrived Christmas Eve and left December 26 so had the pleasure of being there for the holidays. The rooms are charming, comfortable, and always clean. The views of the vineyard out the windows are breathtaking. Of course the best part is the 3-course French breakfast served with the always entertaining jokes and stories of Roxanne, the indefatigable innkeeper. She is what keeps us laughing and makes the inn a real treasure. I hope to make my trip to Auberge an annual one, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone,

The view of the vineyards was beautiful. The breakfast each morning was delicious. We spoke with another couple at breakfast who had stayed there 6 nights without the breakfast menu being repeated. The owner was gracious and fun. We definitely would consider returning.
