A must visit. This quaint lodge with private cabins provides the couple or family with a cozy, outdoor and relaxing place to stay. The lodge proves to be the "best" dinner house in the area with an array of menu specialities and a wonderful breakfast that is included with your room. Try this place and you will not want to leave when it is time to go home.

The Lodge at Whitehawk Ranch is A-One! From an excellent golf course, to a beautiful catch-and-release trout pond, to beautiful cabins with sprectacular views, to a warm and friendly lodge with ourstanding food, to the welcoming owners, Mary Ann and Jerry, this experience is not to be missed.

A very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere in the Sierra Nevadas will most definitely recharge your batteries and improve your attitude.

Please do not miss this experience!

This lodge is a find -- the owners were gracious, warm, accomodating; the room was comfortable, attractive, private; the main lodge is elegant, the food tops. I have nothing but good things to say about this place and look forward to a return trip. Highly recommended!

White Hawk is great if you want to spend some quality time with your family, or just a romanctic evning with a loved one. My experience with White Hawk was wonderful! The food was excellent, the cabins are cozy and welcoming, and the pool is just perfect! Every direction you look you see gorgous senery full of mountains, red woods, and beautiful aspin trees. There's even a fly fishing pond and horses. My experience was great and I think you'll love it as much as me!

What started out as a disastrous beginning of a much needed girls weekend soon turned into a heavenly time when we gratefully stumbled upon this beautiful place. As soon as we walked in the door, the staff (who later we found out were the owners) greeted us with a smile and geniune efforts in trying to acccomodate us. While waiting, we were offered unlimited wine and nice cheeses, as we arrived during the Lodges complimentary "happy hour". We were given a wonderful quaint, clean, tastefully decorated cabin that was very private, yet we could walk to dinner, tennis courts and the pool. A glass of wine on our private deck and we felt like we could breath again! The beds extremely comfortable, nice soft linens, complete quiet--I don't know when I have slept so well. The tennis courts are in great condition--not much better than playing within those majestic backdrops. We didn't come prepared with our golf clubs, but the other guests raved about it and it certainly was beautiful. The restaurant in the Lodge was outstanding. I live in wine country where I believe we have some of the best restaurants in the country, and chief Brian's culinary works could go head to head with them any day. Extensive, varied wine list, and Brian made a mean Bloody Mary at the complimentary breakfast the next morning. Words really can't describe the beauty of these surroundings, and the owners Jerry and Maryann go above and beyond hospitality. We hung around as long as we could in hopes someone cancelled and we could have just one more night in heaven, but the Lodge was booked solid. (Understandably so....)
What turned out to be an unexpected adventure will be a yearly (or more) future destination. Thank you Jerry and Maryann, it was wonderful.

Ours was a two-day golfing escape, but we enjoyed a great deal more than the outstanding golf. The entire resort enterprise, including lodging, food and service, was outstanding. When is the last time a resort executive personally baked cookies and delivered them to your room? Anyone who rates this experience as less than excellent cannot be paying attention.

I found the Lodge at Whitehawk to be everything I dreamed it would be, and the Resturant is top notch. The staff was very nice and made sure all of our needs were taken care of with a smile. The food was inovative and well presented. The wine list had alot of intresting choices. The new owners are working around the clock to make the Lodge one of the top Inn's in the area, and it shows! I will be comming back year after year for the great food and wounderful cabins.
