Norms is a family owned SoCal landmark establishment. The newest one in Claremont is, like the others, open 24 hours and jammed all the time. There is always at least a 10 minute wait and if you are there anywhere close to peak times it can be up to an hour. The food though is great 1950's American comfort foods with good burgers, excellent omelettes and hand spun milk shakes. Big comfortable booths and tables complete the intimate diner feel despite its large (overflowing) capacity. Service moves pretty quickly but is always pleasant, accommodating and has never gotten an order wrong all the times I have been there. There is a Denny's across the street and BC is down the way a bit and Norm's opened anyway to a packed house.
