“Unexpected Oasis”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 3, 2012

Throw-back to the 1950s, when damming a river to create a municipal swimming area was still o.k. This is a beautiful park for swimming on summers, picnicking, or tooling around on a bicycle through the spacious park area. If you go up river far enough, you can take your mountain bike and try out the many trails found there.

“Love This Place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 31, 2012

In my opinion this is the best coffee house in Chico. Coffee, pastries, atmostphere. I can understand why they have stayed in business for so long even though getting in and out of the locations is terrible and there is always a long line.

“Spectacular city park”

This park is not to be missed. Be sure to drive all the way up to the north portion, where the golf course is. Some of the lower part was used in "Gone With the Wind" and the older "Robin Hood" movies.

“Pretty Park in the middle of town”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 21, 2012

Bidwell Park has been around for a very long time and has taken a lot of changes through the years. Still a great place to go no matter what your age. Golf course at upper end, swim, ride a bike, walk, run, kids park and more

“Lovely Park”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 18, 2012

My husband & I had some time to kill before picking up our daughter from school. We walked around the park & fully enjoyed it. It was beautiful! Very clean, and peaceful, adorable squirrels & woodpeckers everywhere. The swimming hole was nice & clean with fish enjoying life. Too cold & early for swimmers, but I'm sure it would be a perfect place to be on a Hot chico day. Loved it!
