Had lunch there one very hot afternoon. Had driven through Chester and were not attracted to any restaurant/café for lunch until we saw the Old Town Café – looked appealing from the outside. Quite small but homey inside and busy – popular spot with locals. Service was great and the food was very good – simple choices but freshly made. I had a BLT and spouse had an omelet. Both excellent. Got lots of good advice from locals on best way to see Lake Almanor. An oasis in Chester – friendly and good basic food. We will be back.
