“Blair Which Hotel”
Reviewed June 7, 2006

We checked in for New Years and stayed for one week after. There is no way around the fact that the whole complex is worn out and very tired. This of coarse is no reason for the
filthy condition of the rooms. The carpet in my room was so dirty it made my socks dirty to walk on it. The room service was in my room no more than 5 min. per day, so you can imagine the level of cleanliness. The place is no more than a run down bath house for the over 70 crowd. The twice weekly buffet is packed up and recycled for the next time, it made us sick .
The continental breakfast was the 711 special (everything in plastic with no expiry date). All this for only $142.50 per night (WOW) .

I really like this resort, but the price increases in 2005 seemed a bit steep since to my eyes much hadn't changed since my visits in 2004. When I asked why the extra resort fee charge was told they do it because everyone else does. Not a very good reason. I don't appreciate charges being tacked on; just make it a part of the quoted room rate and be done with it. I've also noticed that you don't get an itemized receipt even though you must pay full charges upon check-in. I think that's most unprofessional. Still once you're there, it's a great relaxing place and I do like the fact that they have day passes for persons not staying at the resort. It's a wonderful way to meet people. Would I stay here again-yes, just have to budget better.

Lots of action going everywhere, but most of the guys were older and not my type. Saw a wide range of guys though ranging from just legal to geriatric. They have their "nature trail" that is so much fun after dark with hiding places to do whatever you want... Have fun, I did!
