The food here is prepared to order. It hasn't been sitting in pool of grease on a steam table for God knows how long. The food is what I associate with Cantonese style. The vegetables are fresh and crisp. The sauces are light and tasty, not a heavy combo of too much soy sauce, gooey cornstarch thickener, and excessive oil. Service is quick and friendly--the server is at your table immediately and returns in a few minutes with your food, but there is never a rush for you to leave. Whenever I want a quick, healthy, lunch or dinner, I come here. For $6-7$ I order from the meal menu, which is an entree, rice, and spring roll. Try the almond chicken: it is a very generous plate full of chicken combined with fresh, cooked-just-right celery, bok-choy stems, and similar vegetables with plenty of crunchy almonds in a light clear sauce. There are no frozen peas and diced carrots from a plastic bag. In the time I can go to one of those panda places, I can get healthier, better prepared, delicious food, with table service on a real plate with metal utensils for panda prices. There are no plastic trays, styrofoam plates, and plastic utensils. And there is no residual pool of cooking oil separating from a thick gravy beneath the food.
