I really enjoyed this restaurant on a short trip to Palm Springs. It is located in a "strip mall" but has nice tables and lighting. Very friendly staff that helped us decide what to have. The Pad Thai was excellent, simple and reminded me of being in Bangkok at a friends home. The soup came in a special pot with a flame coming out the top, really outstanding. The shrimp and vegetable dish was good and spicy! Check in on facebook and they will reward you with a free Thai ice tea.

The food here is very good and nicely priced. Sadly, the location, decor, service and an odd smell encountered upon entry will keep us from returning. This restaurant screams for a host/hostess to guide the customers and staff and keep things moving along. While we were there, the lights went out 3 times, the credit card machine was inoperable and it took over 30 minutes for our food to be served. The mee grob is well done, but it was delivered after our pad thai was served. There is a big need for more grown-up staff here. Also, some of the servers/bussers were unkempt and look dirty. Estimated 1 year existence.

Gave two chances to this restaurant as its new of a few months old before doing a review. But truly here is my point: cold ambiance, you don't feel welcome when sitting at your table. Music (noise) played is from a radio and has nothing to do with Thailand. Hostess is not attentive. Waitress is kind but seems to have no knowledge of Thai food. Food has no taste whatsoever. Portions of meat are ridiculously small which makes the price to sound stupid. I thought i had found a Thai restaurant closer to home, but i will stick with Thai Smile PS for lunches and RM for dinners.

I read the one review already posted for this relatively new place and I can understand the patron's enthusiasm. However, our experience there is something less desirable. Be aware that this is not authentic Thai.... we have Thai relatives including a daughter-in-law and I can assure you that they would laugh their heads off at this place. For instance, the place setting consists of a fork and a knife! It should be a fork and a large spoon, as it is in every Thai restaurant we have ever been in here and in Thailand! They do not have or serve peanut sauce! A staple in many Thai dishes, including Pad Thai, which they do serve. God knows what sauce they use for Pad Thai! Our server was polite, but distant.. borderline uninterested. My dish arrived with egg, after requesting in advance (three times) "no egg." Their spring rolls (in Thai places normally vegetarian, as compared with egg rolls) contain ground turkey meat. Thais do not even know what a turkey looks like! The place is hospital clean and beautifully decorated... but it is most certainly not Thai. They need to change their outdoor sign from "Thai Food" to "Oriental Food" or maybe just "Food."
