Wish we were traveling with a group because I wanted to try most of the items on the menu. For breakfast, hubby had the House-Corned Beef Hash which was very good. The meat was flavorful, not fatty, huge chunks of meat (hint of cinnamon) with nicely cooked red bliss potatoes served in a shallow earthen ware dish. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was the fact the earthen ware is placed in an oven with eggs on top of the meat and potatoes and it comes out really hot. So, the eggs that were cooked to medium end up completely cooked by the time you finish your breakfast. My breakfast was equally good, The Village Combo. Poached eggs on french bread toast served with a lovely tomato jam that perfectly offset the fresh heirloom tomatoes, undressed baby arugula salad and sliced avocado. The only thing a bit disappointing was that the eggs were not poached in a bath of water they were poached in an egg-poaching pan and were visually unappealing. Will definitely go back. Line out the door on the weekends.
