“Very Average”
Reviewed March 19, 2008

My Rio Grill experience was very average. The wait staff was friendly but the food was nothing special. There are so many other restaurants to choose from that I do not plan on going back.

“Two words: food poison”
Reviewed November 4, 2007

My god, steer clear of the Rio Grill (or is it Rio forgot to grill!). A truly terrible experience was had by all. After being stepped on not once, twice, but three times! by various wait staff, the food arrived luke warm...and what is much worse -- not cooked. I would avoid The Rio Grill at all costs. The fish you might catch off Point Lobos would be a far safer bet.

“Consistently Fine”
Reviewed July 9, 2007

July, 2007: We've had dinner here many times over maybe 20 years. Food and service always tops. Not fancy, but a fun place. Avoid if you want a quiet, romantic spot.
