If you follow my reviews, you'll know that I value cleanliness, service and, of course, luxury. This resort hit all marks. First visit here and couldn't be happier. The room wasn't all that large, but it was extremely clean, and the bathroom was quite modern. The housekeeping service did a fantastic job. We had a room that looked out onto the golf course, and we jut loved the view. It appeared that all room had a balcony or patio- I would suggest a patio overlooking the golf course. The "complimentary" breakfast buffet was very good. Oatmeal, cereal, croissants, hard-boiled eggs, fresh berries and various muffins were very good. The selections got a little sparse towards the end of the breakfast, but the hotel did seem to do a good job keeping everything refilled. There are several putting greens right around the check-in building which are fun to play. The golf course associated with the hotel is challenging but not horrific. The dining option associated with the hotel is at the golf course in which you have to take a very short free ride on the shuttle from the hotel if you don't want to drive. There is also a Mexican restaurant across the street from the hotel, which is very good-we ate there one night. Highly recommend this resort!q

Staying here was a pleasure from the moment I checked in. Jessica at the front desk was awesome, friendly and professional. Hopefully the hotel really appreciates how important it is to have someone like her as the first contact with each new guest.

They rooms are nicely appointed, spacious and clean as are the grounds. Of course this is to be expected of a higher end hotel. Having been to the Lodge at Pebble Beach and the Inn at Spanish Bay I would say Quail is the best value of the three. Very comparable in service and experience but without the ocean view.

They hotel is conveniently located just a few minutes from the heart of Carmel and it's just a bit further to Monterey.

There is no question that I will be back.

Gorgeous property with amazing greens! Very close to Carmel by the sea. Lovely accommodations! While this is an older property with newer rooms, the grounds are just amazing! We booked a room that was right on the course with a lovely pond view. Very spacious. Just be sure and close the door quickly as mosquitos tend to congregate with the pond close by.

Booked the lodge at the last minute whilst travelling up the West coast from LA to San Francisco and absolutely loved it!! The lodge is set off the beaten track and is a real oasis.

The room was fabulous, really well set out, a great size and well decorated. The pool area was most welcome and the grounds were beautifully landscaped.

We ate in the golf clubhouse restaurant and the food was of a good standard. Breakfast was also good and the staff were helpful and professional, providing a warm welcome

The only downside was that we only stayed for one night

Recently stated in Quail Lodge. Spacious modern rooms with great facilities. Location was superb between Carmel Valley and the town. Room was fantastic value and our favourite hotel on our road trip from San Francisco. No hidden parking charges or unnecessary fees. Pool was lovely and gym facilities were modern and well maintained. Would stay there again without hesitation.
