Description: The legend of Carmel. Formerly owned by Clint Eastwood, he still owns the building-who knows when he will stop by? Kept intact to keep the charm that is the cozy Carmel of yesteryear.

“Cool Bar and location, downtown Carmel CA”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 13, 2013

We dropped in for drinks and atmosphere.....Great bartender, lots of local information. Clint Eastwoood stuff all around, but apparently not the owner any longer. Enter the location through Eastwood building. Nice spot. Eastwood now has Mission Ranch (Bar, restaurant, hotel, tennis club) off Rio and Dolores street/roads in Carmel.

“Hidden Treasure”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 13, 2013

Hidden down a little sidewalk behind the Carmel Information Store. Step down into a brick courtyard filled with outdoor fireplaces. Order your favorite beverage and ribs. Sit back on long wooden benchesand enjoy the evening away with friends and family. Dog friendly on patio. Smoking areas for some. Good wine and beer!

“Go see Clint”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 7, 2013

Great fun place to go, good food excellent selection of beers lovely to sit outside with the log fires albeit gas operated but it gives a great atmosphere to the place. Staff are friendly and there's lots of memorability around the place.

“A hidden gem.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 30, 2013

This is a great place to escape the crowds, especially on a chilly/windy day. This gem is tucked down an alley and offers a lovely, hidden dog-friendly courtyard with four fireplaces. The beef sliders, artichoke and fish tacos are all very good. Great place for a pre-dinner glass of wine!

“romantic and cozy”

Love the atmosphere. The outdoor seating and lights, the tiny bar. Didn't love the dining room, but the food and beer were great!
