Just returned from spending the night at The Colonial Terrace. What a great place! There were 5 of us and we had 3 rooms. The rooms have been renovated and look great. (We watch the Travel Channel show "Hotel Impossible" and are always looking for the things he notices at the places he goes to. Having bedspreads on the beds is one of his pet peeves. Glad to say that the duvet covers are standard in all of the rooms we stayed in). The location is the best. Loved taking our morning walk - one block away and we were on the beach!! Ocean Ave with all its great restaurants and shops is also within walking distance. Price was perfect too. (Only recommendation is that they could add blackout shades to the windows - courtyard lights make the room too bright at night.). We will return soon!!
