“Excellent food, not crowded, fantastic service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 18, 2013 via mobile

I'm not sure what Casandra's experience was but ours was wonderful. The food was excellent, including the gluten free dishes. We had the fresh sea bass and scallop special on a bed of mixed mashed potatoe and parsnips. Perfectly done and presented. My wife who spent a year in France said the cuisine was French if your ordered French items. There were Pizza options as well. It was less than half occupied 7:00M on a Friday night. The service was attentive and personable. What's not to like! We would go back in a heart beat.

“Food is really good”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 28, 2012

The food here is really good but the restaurant can get VERY loud and they really pack the tables in. Great for a good in and out meal if your not in the mood to really talk.

“Not to Be Missed”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 12, 2012

Le Saint-Tropez in Carmel-by-the-Sea is one restaurant not to be missed. Its cuisine is excellent and reasonably priced, with the latter being something of an exceptional rarity for this quaint and charming village. Whatever selection is made from its copious menu, the customer will find pleasurable satisfaction. I only rue the fact that its chef and proprietor has not selected his own "house wine" served in carafes with which to complement his delicious luncheons and dinners.

“Whoa! Easy on the drizzle!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 11, 2012

Way too much dressing & sauce & fat. If that's reeled in, this is 1 of my top 10 in Carmel. Great prefixe deal. Delicious flavor profiles, good wine, cute ambiance, service is fine.

“Great-especially if you are gluten intolerant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 4, 2012

On vacation in Carmel, we headed to Le St Tropez for dinner. I am highly gluten intolerant and loved that almost everything on their menu can be prepared gluten free. They even offer gluten free bread-- which is certainly hard to come by at most restaurants. Great food, great service and a lovely atmosphere. Definitely recommend!
