“Lovely West coast beach”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 23, 2013

The sandy beach is large so you'll be able to find your own space. Most people were gathered near the parking lot on Ocean Ave, which also has bathrooms. The further you walk, the less people you will see. Make sure you bring warm clothing, especially if you watch the sunset, as the temperature seems to drop quickly with the sun.

“Carmel Beach”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 20, 2013

Great place to spend a few hours in the afternoon. Sand pebbles are very large...apparently this is why the golf course is named pebble beach.

“The best way to enjoy Carmel Beach? Alone”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 20, 2013

Carmel Beach can be a huge stretch of thinking sand. You just need the weather to get blustery and at the edge of rain and it is all yours. The ocean can be violent and extreme and inspirational. It smells like ocean here. Don't stand in the parking lot. Walk the sand, make footprints. Think, Reflect and even decide. What Next?

“Beautiful beach”

Lone sandy beaches with beautiful views across the Pacific Ocean. Great romantic sunsets but wrap up well in cold winds.

“Head to the Beach for Sunset”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 18, 2013 via mobile

Make sure you take a walk down Ocean Avenue as the sun begins to set, it becomes a tunnel of golden light and what seemed like the entire town, but was probably just the tourists, flock down to the beach to watch the sun set over the ocean, it's like a big event. Absolutely stunning.
