Rest & renew.

The moment we stepped into the cabin, we realized this would be a time to unwind, relax and extend our stay here. The coziness of the cabins were peaceful. The welcoming staff treated us with exceptional service and the aura makes you want to return again and again. The cleanliness of the rooms and manicured gardens were a treat. Thank you Michael and Tom at the front desk for making this possible.

Front desk very friendly. Cottage 10 had some positive qualities. Very quiet and the room decor was nice. Enjoyed the silverware and plates along with the mini fridge. Patio was in need of sweeping and cleaning out the cob webs from the fence. Cigarette butts in front of the room along with the huge garbage cannister off to the right. It was cool in Carmel but the room still was stuffy in the afternoon. There were screens at the back window and the bathroom but there was no way to open the front windows and allow the cross ventilation to help cool the room. If it was warmer it most likely would have been uncomfortble. The grounds are a bit dusty in the cottage area. The shower also needed a place to keep shampoo and soap. It is a good value but I don't think we would stay again.

Loved our little cottage with kitchen. Good price, great location just outside of town but on the Carnel River. Carmel is a wonderful town with lots of great places to go. Love Point Lobos, whale watching and the Aquarium.

Stayed at Carmel River Inn for my nephew’s wedding at Carmel Mission. We stayed in cottage #16. By far, the cutest room ever. So warm and inviting. Had several family members staying at other cottages and they all said ours was the nicest. The surrounding area was like a campground setting. Would definitely stay at the inn again. Had a great time visiting with the family at the cottage area. Only thing #16 needed is a full length mirror.

We all loved our time in the cottages! It has the Carmel flavor~ and is perfect for extended families to stay! The staff is very gracious and wants to do everything to make your stay memorable ! We look forward to seeing the new cottages when they're done next year!

Room tip: It would have been nice if the blinds had been replaced with newer ones!

Our cottages were very clean with updated decor in #10 and #16. Very cute and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. I thought it was a little silly to charge $150 for a lost key though. It would be nice if they provided a couple of bottles of water in the rooms, as the tap water is not very good in Carmel.
