My hubby and I went for the Sunday Brunch and it did not disappoint. The a/c was a lovely touch as its been unseasonably warm in the North County this summer. Menu had plenty of selections:. I ordered the omelet with lobster and it did not disappoint. Egg whites substitue offered. My husband had the french toast and bacon. Yum, yum! will return again.

What a gem; we can't wait to visit again! I had the mortadella gnocchi, which was delicious; two had the pot pie (which they raved about), one had the gumbo (the best EVER) and one had the rotisserie chicken (which was prepared perfectly). Our service was outstanding and the ambiance very enjoyable. We never felt rushed and we left feeling like we'd experienced something special.

Went for happy hour and the HH menu looked good. Four of us ordered sliders, pizzas, and a salad plus cocktails. Drinks were small and didn't have much liquor in them. Sliders were overlooked to point being dry, tasteless although the lone BBQ pork slider was fantastic. Alas, nothing came close. On top of that, the food took at least 40 minutes to arrive (maybe that's why some of it was overcooked). We expected way more than we got, will not go back.

My wife and In-laws haven't had a good dinner in three days of our vacation. I recommend booking your reservations on Open Table which we did 30 mintues ahead of our arrival on got right in on time. Others that got there without rsvp had to wait an hour or more. Nice big bar with huge flat screens to watch football games. Behind the bar is a huge wide open dining room with a decorative bubble water tank and another huge room for group gatherings.
Now the food. It was exceptionally good. Others that complain here must be nuts or are competitors losing out on business. Bistro West is reasonably priced. A must try is the flat iron steak and ask to have the sauce on the side. This sauce is to die for! Also the rotisserie chicken with two sides of your choice is a great selection. Also ask to have the sauce on the side. The Bisro West burger made with kobe beef and mushrooms, grilled onions & swiss cheese is a deal to eat. Wine was $8-$10 a glass with a new malbec that rates right up there. Our bill for four and three glasses of wine came to $130 which included the tip. It was way better than the Beach House in Cardiff by the Sea. Our waiter was Reggie, and I would recommend his section anyday because of his excellent service. Those that say the service is bad here, need to go eat at McDonalds. When we head back to Vegas, I'll make sure everyone knows about Bistro West.
