This is a place I like to eat because it is consistent. The food and service are good and I love the location with the sidewalk deck and the ocean view.

So glad we found this restaurant! Our hostess steered us through the very comprehensive menu. They cater to every palate and dietary restriction. Delicious. Oh - make sure you do leave room for dessert!

Dropped by for dinner with family and we were not disappointed ....a fabulous chicken kabob, gyro plate, the best cheese pizza a finicky three year old could ask for...fresh salad, lots of feta...and a really nice red house wine! Oh, a delightful baklava dessert rounded off our kid friendly dining experience. We were so happy we went for breakfast a couple of days later. It was very nice, too, however, when we asked for toast instead of pita we were told it was not available. The pita is tasty with butter. My poached eggs were too watery and loose, but at least the cook tried. With a bit more experience and a splash of vinegar he will be just fine...somebody get him a slotted spoon to drain off the cooking water!!! Belly Dancing is featured on Saturday night (maybe Friday).

You will pay a dear sum but the rack of lamb is heavenly tender with zaatar spices. I you want to save a bit, go for the lamb kebabs. The rice pilaf is tasty. ( I bring toasted pine nuts to sprinkle over it.) The orzo soup is delicious...it comes with the entree. I have also had the lamb salad for lunch. The lamb should be what you come for, but be sure to insist on it being medium rare. The bellydancing on the ourdoor deck when we have warm nights is also fun.

Outdoor dining in Carlsbad. This restaurant offers a great assortment of breakfast and brunch specials. How about gyro meat served in an omelet, or on the side or anywhere you want it? Pita instead of toast? No problem. Great French Toast? No problem. Fabulous cinnamon rolls. Great "wake me up" coffees. Not fancy but definitely worth a visit. Belly dancing in the evenings but cannot comment on that. Perhaps next trip to the area.
