“Just what we were looking for”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 16, 2014

I have a soon to be 3 year old and this was just what we were looking for. She is still too small to be able to ride most rides at other amusement parks. This was perfect. Plenty of rides that she could ride. Plenty of just playground play areas. Plenty of water play areas. It was tons of fun. It bothers me when folks rate this low based on the age range of interest. It is well advertised for the younger crowd and it is mentioned in most reviews. So, if you aren't interested in something geared for 3-10 year olds, don't go.

The only reasons I gave this a 4 instead of 5 are: price. It is pricy for a 1 day admission. So, please don't ever pay full price. They run specials quite often. It is common to offer the 2nd day for free. And, we even bought in on a "buy 1 get 5 days" offer. That was perfect! Plenty of time to see and do it all multiple times over but not be rushed doing it. The other reason I gave it 4 stars is there are some features within the park that don't work and/or look weathered. However, none of them mattered to my kid. And, overall it was still pretty impressive.

Would recommend this for anyone with young kids. Will probably go again ourselves next year.

“Just keep swimming.....”

Wow, awesome place for kids, and adults, to get wet. But be warned, you will still be required to pay for a few rides once you have paid your entrance fee. The rock wall climbing has a fee and only caters for smaller children. You are also required to wear enclosed shoes on some rides so make sure you pack some along with your flip flops......the water areas are fantastic and the kids loved them. Getting around the park is a little bit of a maze and not as clear as Disneyland. You can purchase towels but only INSIDE the Waterpark area and there are only 2-3 to choose from. Food is ok but they are a little hard to find. I am glad we went for our So. Who LOVES Lego but we wouldn't go back.

“extra charge”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 15, 2014

We were charge extra to pay our monthly fee. Instead of charging us 2x to pay off the account, we were charged 3x. Upon calling customer service, the person helping me had no customer service at all. Terrible terrible customer service.

“We need once a year Legoland fix!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 14, 2014

We have been to lego land at least once a year for the past 8 years. Were all huge lego fans and the children have chosen Legland for our yearly trip instead of the other parks. We can't wait to experience Lego chima water attraction this year!

We went for three days with our 6 year-old son, and stayed in the hotel. Our only regret was we didn't book a longer stay. This place is WONDERFUL, and just the right size park for a younger child. I don't know if it would hold the interest of a 10-year-old or older, but for our kiddo it was perfect. The water park, amusement rides and the lego sculptures were all great.
The LEGOLAND hotel was perfect, from start to finish. Their attention to detail and in-hotel activities kept us and the kid busy the entire stay. Also, of particular note, was the food. We didn't expect much from a hotel buffet-style restaurant, but the food was fantastic. Also, our son has a severe food allergy, and the staff made special meals for us AT EVERY MEAL, NO EXTRA COST, after a personal consultation with the chef. We absolutely loved our stay, and we'll be back again.
