Our family is an annual pass holder of Legoland. We have been going there since my son was 4 yrs old and now he's 6. The regular parking is $20/ day (you should consider getting a premium annual pass that includes parking if you'll be going there often). The park is smaller than Disneyland but they have plenty of shades, trees, benches for parents to sit while waiting for your kids to go on a ride. I love the water park but it gets so busy in summer when school is out. The foods are sub par and expensive. The only negative thing is lines always very long especially for popular rides like Ninja Go and roller coasters. The pirate park and Duplo Town are great for kids to go wild. Free Wi-Fi and sometimes they have kids eat free promotion at one of the restaurant inside the park. Plan your day ahead and you'll have a great time.

Great time to visit. Weather was perfect. Closing time was extended to 6pm which was perfect for one last ride.

My wife and I took our toddler daughter to Legoland CA to have a great time. For the price of admission ~$100/ea plus $20 parking, you'd expect it to be a top-notch park. We arrived as they opened so we could make the most out of our day and tickets. What we found instead was a theme park without much of a 'theme' that seemed built ~50 years ago despite being less than 20 years old. Everything seems cheaply made without much effort to 'glam' it up that you'd expect from an amusement park. For example, 1) the carousel is made of cheap plastic horses that are way too close together and the ride is over before you know it. (yes, I know - 'cheap plastic' is kind of the idea behind Legos)2) The boys manning the helicopter ride couldn't count to 24 so my daughter and I were let into the area to pick a helicopter only to find no more available which meant going back in line to wait another round and a very upset little girl along with a barely audible apology.3) The Miniland looks like it's been in the sun for way too long and could really use some freshening up to impress the paying audience.4) There are areas where kids can go inside and play with legos, but it's no different than if you were in your own living room. Here's what really ticked me off. A character in a big Lego costume walks past us going the opposite way flanked by two staff members, presumably on the way to a show. My daughter runs up to the walking character and gives him a hug like she always does to Chuck E. Cheese. The Lego character gave her 3 seconds before the staff member said ‘Ok sweetie, we have to be somewhere.’ and moved on. Kids like my daughter are the very reason the park exists (and that the girl has a job), so swatting her away like an annoying fly is disgusting. If you really had to be somewhere, then don't parade through the park where you'll come in contact with CHILDREN/CUSTOMERS.We left after 3 hours and had just much fun at our local playground.

Lines were very long. Rides are not as nice as other resorts in Southern California but they are just as expensive. Too many upcharges, had to pay extra to park close to entrance. Wasn't willing to pay another $55 per person for fast track to front of lines. We were a family of 4 and had already paid over $400 for one day so was not willing to pay another $220 on top of that for fast track. I'm a senior citizen and we were taking our 2 grandchildren but no senior discount was offered on the website when we bought the tickets, very unusual. Also, our youngest grandchild who is 3 years old could not go on most of the rides because of height and age restrictions but we had to pay the same price for her as we did for her 5 year old brother who could go on almost all the rides. Doesn't seem fair. Honestly, we felt we had been price gouged.

LEGOLAND 11/9/18

We saw most of the park in one long day. We heard people in line saying they were going for 3 days straight; I wouldn’t recommend it.
The park officially opens at 10:00 but you should get there for the soft opening and better parking at 9:30 or so. Get a paper map at the entrance, as well as downloading the phone app, which lists wait times and directions to your selected ride.
Staff: The workers were great, making it a good experience for the child and adults.
Food: surprisingly good at the Knights BBQ: sausage, chicken, salads, cooked vegetables, beans, chili, beer. You can and should bring your own water and snacks.
Lodging: we skipped the LEGOLAND hotel, fearing the screaming children running down the halls. The nearby Grand Pacific Palisades was fantastic, and quiet.
Rides in the order we did them, mostly counter-clockwise through the park:
#1 LEGO Technic Coaster was a great roller coaster, with a big drop early on, then medium-mellow. Kid wanted to go again, and we did, with a 20 minute wait time (already!).
#2 LEGO Ninjago: a ride where you somehow shoot bad guys. We were all confused, but it was still fun.
#3 Dragon Coaster: a mellow roller coaster.
#4 Royal Joust: the kid rode a model horse around a track, pretending to joust. She liked it.
#5 The Hideaways: climbing wall for kids.
#6 Aquazone Wave Racers: perfect for a warm mid-day ride, with some splashing. But we got hot waiting in line. We should have gone to lunch before this one.
#7 Captain’s Cranky Challenge: a fun spinning and rocking ride.
#8 Bionicle Blaster: spin in multiple ways, some controllable.
#9 Sky Patrol: ride in a “helicopter” going up and down as you direct it. Fun for kid and Mom.
Driving School: Kid chose not to do it. Maybe getting tired?
Coastersaurus: we meant to ride this roller coaster, but ran out of steam first.
#10 LEGO City: Deep Sea Adventure: Our last ride, and everyone’s favorite. A submarine ride, nominally about identifying treasure, but more about seeing real fish and sharks and rays. Great for all ages!
Miniland: Cities made out of legos wowed the adult’s. We saw it on our way out. The plaques describing the number of pieces and the time involved were impressive. Must see! Also, the many statues of animals made out of legos all around the park were amazing.

We loved it!! We visited Legoland with our two young boys aged (almost) 3 and 7.
They were big enough to ride all the rides and the park wasn't to big or overwhelming. It was clean and tidy and there was something exciting around every corner AND we loved trading our minifigures. We had a 2 day park hopper ticket and for us that was plenty of time to get around and see/do everything we wanted too. Thanks for a wonderful time.

This is not a big park but has a lot to do and see. Takes about 7 minutes to walk from front to back. You can have fun just seeing the Lego sculptures and shows. The rides are bonus. The new ride, deep sea adventure, is my favorite! I suggest starting with that ride as soon as you get into the park for shortest line. Food options are pretty good and tasty. The Sea Life aquarium is a nice spot to end the day.

Legoland really thought of everything. My husband took our 5 children this past weekend. From waiting in line with Levi's for the kids to play with as they waited to a painless experience getting food from the restaurants! And very allergy friendly for my two with nut allergies! Loved the small child areas scattered about to entertain younger kids while the older kids rode big kid rides! Perfect!

We spent two days visiting the park and still didn't get a chance to see everything. There were tons of interactive activities, rides, play areas, and things to see. We all enjoyed ourselves. Our five year old had the best time celebrating his birthday there. Wonderful memories made at legoland.

Wanted to take my son to legoland for his 3rd birthday. He had so much fun he didn't even take a nap. We went for Halloween and he love getting candy at night. We even did the aquarium not big but big enough to see fish and do fun activities. My first time being here and what I liked is that you interact with your child. We didn't do the water park not enough time. But we definitely want to come back. There so much hands on activities to keep your child busy. If your child is 2 make sure you check his height otherwise he won't have fun and won't be able to get on the rides. Sorry Disneyland but I had more fun here .
