“Small- Food just average.”
Reviewed October 2, 2013

Went her for lunch on the recommendation of some local people. Lower parking lot provides adequate space but it is very dusty. Lunch seating inside is very close together and rather loud. Drinks were OK but not great - hand made not from mix as advertised. Food order was mixed up for my husband - not what he ordered but sufficed. Chips and salsa were the best part of the meal and presented promptly as we were seated. Across from the ocean but can really only see the highway once inside. Servers are pleasant and friendly. Known as a landmark restaurant but probably would not visit again. So many beautiful places to eat in this part of California.

“Great place”
Reviewed October 1, 2013

Stopped in here for lunch one day on drive up the coast and were very glad we did.
Great lunch menu with killer salsa and chips. My fish tacos were terrific as were my wife's
chicken enchiladas with rice and beans. Ice cold beer and great margaritas made for an
extremely enjoyable lunch and all by accident. Nice location as well. Do yourselves a favor
and give it a try, you won't regret it.

“Fun with great service!”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

Across from the beach on any day is a great day! Add the real "Dream Team" at the bar - Jason and Matty, and what was supposed to be a short stop for a quick beer, becomes a great lunch with awesome cocktails. Quick service, fun suggestions for food, great conversations about Bali and other exotic places they have visited. Truly fun visits. We had the Smok'in Quesadilla and the Chile Relano. So good! Go and have fun!

“First time was a charm”
Reviewed August 17, 2013 via mobile

Stopped cuz we were parched on our drive down the coast. Location was outstanding...at the beach and overlooking San Eligio lagoon. Great price for a pitcher of margaritas...only gave it 4 stars because we didn't get a chance to try the food, but we'll definitely go back and check that out too. Really a nice spot.
