We had to visit this place after reading about it in "Edible Monterey". We were very excited to go to a place that only uses sustainably harvested fish; this is a big deal with certain tuna species on the brink of extinction due to overharvesting for sushi! We had a few sushi rolls as well as a sashimi platter. The sushi was average. The sashimi was superb! Ambience was nice and service was good. We'll go again, and try the hot fish dishes as well as more sashimi. Hanabi in Duluth has spoiled sushi everywhere for us; nobody can live up to their standard.
