I could pretty much copy word for word Wendy G's review. We stayed here because we had an early flight out of Krabi Airport and when we took a boat from Phi Phi to Krabi, we thought this is where we had left from a few days prior. We quickly learned we'd been further West, but by that point, we needed a hotel and a good night's rest. This hotel is gorgeous from a distance, but def needs some updating. The room was huge, nice bed, outdated bathroom. Lame that you could only get WiFi in the lobby? Breakfast was weak, we went down to eat about 9 and most of the food was gone. Instant coffee- come on! We did take the shuttle from the hotel to downtown the night we were there, but the driver charged us 150 baht each way, we are still thinking we got ripped off and that the shuttle should have been free. If you do end up in Krabitown it seemed there were cuter places in the actual town, but when we arrived we were so confused that we finally found a person who spoke English and asked for the best hotel they had. Do go to the night market on the Pier for dinner - delicious food, English menus and super cheap. We had 3 dishes and 2 sodas for $7 USD.

Room tip: High floors have good views

Huge and magnificent hotel near Krabi town center. Grand driveway with lots of parking. Very friendly and warm staff. Very spacious and comfortable room. Breakfast spread is very good . Stayed at the hotel for 3 nites. Hotel travel agent did a good job and we enjoyed the Phi Phi island tour as we travel in style n comfort with delicious lunch . Wifi only at hotel lobby . Suggest hotel to install free wifi to the bedrooms. This will make our stay more enjoyable .

This huge, rambling hotel needs a massive cash injection. We only stayed one night because it was one of the closest to Krabi airport (400 bhat in a taxi)
The bedroom was big and a huge bed, bathroom dated, needed a good dust. Breakfast ok but did lack a decent selection. Wifi is only available in the lobby.
The grounds, garden, pool and lagoon did look pretty impressive.
Shuttle bus only runs twice a day and you are a long way from the beach.
Bar prices nearly double you would pay in a bar.
If you need to get your head down for a night near to Krabi airport, this hotel is fine and cheap. If you are looking for something more special avoid.

Certainly in ned of a major make over. Yes the ground are nice but it is all very old fashioned and way too big. Bbreakfast is poor and lacks selection. The tv only. Shows Thai channels and has one in house movie Chanel. all tv share old style square tellies. Bathrooms old style. Everything is old and wifi onlyin the lobby costs 300 baht for 24 hours otherwise! Worst of all I had to change my booking as I could not travel due to sickness. They claimed not to receive my cancellation email and charged me the full whack.. Thanks god I was NOT here for 3 nights! Oh the shuttle bus only runs twice a day and not in the evenings!

Check into this hotel for a night. Upon reaching hotel, no bell boy was insight. Help ourself to the trolley. Check in and was shown to our rooms by reception person. 1st look seem alright, then found thin layer of dust on almost every corner. was too lazy to change room since it's only for a night. Then found tv not working, but housekeeping fix the problem after complain. After dinner came back for shower. Hot water was not consistence, it's either very hotel or very cold. Sleep was disturbed by mosquitos. Breakfast was basic. Have take note that rooms have been remodel, new floor board and new titles for bathroom. Housekeeping not doing a good job in keeping the room clean. Hope the improve on this. Nice view with lake in front of hotel. Away from the crowd.

Room tip: pick room on higher floor for better view.
