“Good value for money”

The suite I rented was exactly as on the photos I saw. Staff was really friendly and helpful. They also organised motorbike rental and tours/outings for me. Also close to the weekend nightmarket.

Large hotel that feels like it's had its day. No atmosphere. Ghost-town feel. 80's decor. Rooms affected by odour of mould - understandably difficult to avoid in such a tropical climate. Food average. Lovely pool and lush garden were the best things about this hotel. About 3km from town centre. Transport overpriced generally in Krabi.

Arrived to be upgraded to an impressive suite, only to find a double bed when we required a twin - the room offered as an alternative was distinctly average. Views from the balcony are spectacular, looking over a large tree-lined lake to two limestone crags.
Intending to eat out we found the staff less than competent at ordering a taxi, and then non-existent at a very crowded and ordinary breakfast buffet.

This was our 1st hotel on our trip to Thailand. It was just a stopover for us before we headed off on our adventure so we didnt expect too much and certainly didnt get it! Yes, the hotel is out of town but to be honest it is only 50 baht on a bus to get into town and doesnt take that long. You wouldnt get a hotel of this size any nearer a town of this size. We stayed for 2 nights, we ate dinner in the restaurant on the 1st night but that is all the food we had there. The food was good, if a little overpriced for Thailand, but thats what you get from a big hotel. Eat outside of the hotel and you will cut the cost down dramatically. I havent really got anything bad to say about the hotel - the staff were friendly and helpful. The only point I will make is that the rooms and the hotel in general is VERY dated. This didnt matter to us as we only stayed a couple of nights whilst we got our barings but might matter to someone staying for longer. I wouldnt recommend this hotel for more than a couple of nights as not enough to do and you can travel 45 mins to Railay Beach on a Long Boat and stay there for less money with the most amazing views!!! All in all a good all round hotel.

this is a lovely hotel, with all you need, but right out from the town. There is a free bus in the day to Krabi town and then on to Au Nang, but it brings you back at 4pm which is too early and no other options than the local taxi. This is a lovely man called som sac who is very helpful, but not a cheap way to travel. the hotel was very quiet and the resteraunt although very nice was way over priced. Lots of wildlife, sometimes even in the room!!. Lovely staff but all in all more than 3 days here and you would be ready to leave. Book trips in Au nang for a third of the price and they pick up and drop off at the hotel for no extra charge, the chicken island and maya beach are a must.

I spent thirteen days at this hotel. It is attractive, with beautiful grounds, goods sized rooms with balconies, a pool. A copious breakfast buffet is offered, with both Western and Thai dishes, on the ground floor looking out towards a lagoon: very pretty indeed! The restaurant, on the lobby flooir, has seating indoors and out, with reasonably priced, if not terribly exciting food.
What, then, is the problem? The problem is that the hotel is supposed to be in town. instead it is quite isolated. Several persons I met left after a day or so: I was unable to do that because the agency made sure I paid for the whole period before they let me see where I was going.
The hotel provides two shuttles a day into town and to Ao Nang Beach. It is not clear whether or not hey are free, as they certainly should be.
The hotel charges for WiFi' If a cafe can provide free WiFi, surely the hotel can, at least an hour a day. Instead they charge two or three times what internet cafes charge.
Then there is the "Spa" A massage in this facility, currently found on the ground floor, costs no less than TEN times what it costs on the outside. This is simply outrageous.

I've just enjoyed a stay at Maritime Park Resort. The room was great, and the toiletries and bathroom facilities were fine. My only criticism is the lack of English TV channels, apart from the Asian news, there was nothing else apart from an occasional in house video.
Regarding someone's comments about ants and flies - hey, this is the Tropics and if you know a way to keep anywhere ant and fly free, then let us know. There are bound to be flies in mangrove areas. And the flies at the breakfast fruit are fruit flies which you get even in very clean homes in the Tropics. The breakfast was fine, only small comment would be the bakery wasn't very exciting.
The grounds are really nice and well kept. The spa was closed when I visited, but you could have a massage in another room.
My biggest criticism is the fact you have to pay for internet, and it is expensive. Considering cheap guest houses in Krabi give free wifi, it's a pity this hotel doesn't.
