Pak-Up Hostel is a great hostel in Krabi Town. The beds have real mattresses and spacious under-bed storage. The design is very cool, too. They have lots of information on tours and trips to Railay Beach and Koh Phi Phi, etc. Too bad that you have to pay to use the computers and the lobby/common area is none too spacious. Not to mention that the reception staff are rather rude. But, get used to that because if you're not paying them or ingratiating, then that "Land of Smiles" propaganda goes out of the window in the parts of Siam, which I visited. Nonetheless, I would recommend it as more than satisfactory budget/backpacker accommodations.More
